Where the EV-1 commands an Evolution ACU, the EV-2 connects directly to a compatible drive-by-wire steering system over CAN bus, so no separate actuator control unit is required.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eMounting is the same flexible arrangement as the EV-1: deck, wall bracket or mast, above or below decks, with surface and bulkhead mounts included. The sensor draws 30 mA at 12 V dc and is operated from a p70s or p70Rs pilot controller or a networked Axiom chartplotter.
