Raymarine produces a full range of instruments and an array of transducers. In this guide we explain the differences in the ranges, how they connect to each other and integrate with the rest of your Raymarine equipment.

 

 

 

 

i40 Instruments  – Compact digital instruments.
i40 Displays – Speed, depth, wind and bidata.
i50 i60 Instruments – Analogue and digital instruments.
i50 Displays – Speed, depth and tridata.
i60 Displays – Wind and close hauled.
i70 Instruments – Packed full of powerful features

Analogue – Connect directly into instrument display.
SeaTalk ng – Smart NMEA 2000 transducers.
iTC-5 – Allows analogue transducers to be connected to an ng backbone.

Raymarine i40 Instruments

Big displays for smaller powerboats, yachts and RIBs, these compact yet powerful SeaTalk instrument displays offer full integration with Raymarine autopilots and navigation equipment and can be surface or trunnion mounted. Extra large (28mm max) digits and razor sharp LCDs – easy to use Raymarine i40 instrument displays have outstanding visibility in all lighting conditions.

i40 instruments share data between each other over SeaTalk 1. Transducers are connected directly into the back of the displays. Displays can be connected on SeaTalk ng using a converter.

 

Raymarine i40 Displays

Raymarine i40 range has 4 different displays Speed, Depth, Wind and Bidata.

Features –

Raymarine i40 Speed Display - Shows current, maximum and average boat speed, log trip and sea temperature.
Raymarine i40 Depth Display – Shows depth and minimum depth, it has shallow and deep anchor alarms.
Raymarine i40 Wind Display – Shows Apparent wind speed and direction and true wind speed and direction(requires boat speed). Talks to your autopilot to steer your boat to a selected apparent wind angle.
Raymarine i40 Bidata Display - Shows speed, depth, log and sea temperature. Has Shallow and deep anchor alarms.

 

Raymarine i50 i60 Instruments

i50 and i60 instruments are designed to compliment the all new Raymarine c and e Series multifunctional displays. These stylish dedicated-function instruments are the perfect solution for smaller power boats, yachts and rigid inflatables. The i50 range consists of 3 digital displays. Speed and depth displays with extra-large digits and a multi-line tridata unit. Designed primarily for the sailboater, i60 covers wind and closehauled wind options in analogue and digital formats.

i50 i60 instruments share data between each other over SeaTalk 1 or SeaTalk ng.Transducers can be connected directly into the back of the displays, or SeaTalk ng transducers on ng backbone.

There are three displays in the range Speed, Depth and Tridata.

Raymarine i50 Speed Display – Shows Speed through water, Speed over ground (GPS required), Sea surface temperature, Trip and Log data
Raymarine i50 Depth Display - Shows Depth trend indicator, Minimum and maximum depth. Has audible shallow, anchor and deep water alarms
Raymarine i50 Tridata Display - Shows Speed through water, Speed over ground (GPS required), Sea surface temperature, Trip and Log data. Shows Depth, Minimum and maximum depth. Has audible shallow, anchor and deep water alarms

 

Raymarine i60 Displays

There are two displays in the range Wind and Close Hauled Wind

Raymarine i60 Wind Display - Analogue and digital data,calculates apparent (relative) and true wind speed/angle (true wind requires SeaTalk speed through water data)

Raymarine i70 Display

Raymarine i70 instrument display is packed full of powerful features but remains very easy  to use.

Raymarine i70 seamlessly integrates with NMEA 2000 using SeaTalk and SeaTalk ng marine networks. User-selectable data sources allow integration on multi-sensor networks.

  • 4″ over-sized LCD display with 160º viewing angles
  • Maxi 43mm digits in full screen mode
  • Anti-reflective coating for improved visibility in bright sunlight
  • New LightHouse user interface is simple and quick to use
  • AIS repeater
  • Supported data views include: Wind, Speed, Depth, Tridata, Engine (NMEA 2000), Environmental (NMEA 2000), Fuel (NMEA 2000) and navigation
  • Low power – typically 132mA/ 1.6W

Raymarine i70 Instrument Display - can be customised to suit your personal boating requirements. From traditional analogue dials to engine information and tank levels, Raymarine i70 has the capabilities to show it all.

Repeat AIS data from NMEA 2000 AIS receivers. View the closest 25 AIS equipped vessels and select individual targets to obtain vessel information.

a Series

The a65 and a75 with their dedicated instrument pages and with LightHouse II s databar auto-hide, bring larger displays to Raymarine’s Instrument range.

We have broken Raymarine’s instrument transducers into to groups, Analogue and SeaTalk ng.

Analogue – Transducers that can be connected directly in to the back of i40, i50 and i60 instruments.
SeaTalk ng – Transducers that connect on Raymarine’s ng backbone used by i70, i50 and i60.
iTC-5 – Allows direct connect transducers to be connected to Raymarine’s ng backbone.

SeaTalk ng Transducers

Some times known as Smart Transducers, connect no ng backbone and store there own calibration settings.

Raymarine’s Seatalk ng Transducers – Speed, Depth, Compass, GPS even AIS could be considered to be an ng transducer.
Wind requires an iTC-5 to connect to ng backbone.

2-3 year return to base and Onboard warranty available.

Raymarine Instruments units come with a standard limited warranty that can be extended to three years at no extra charge.

To get Raymarine’s full onboard warranty your Instruments needs to be Installed / Commissioned by a Certified Raymarine Dealer.
