Hudson Marine Electronics History

1977 - Bob Hudson started the company mainly dealing with the MOD and Camper and Nicholsons

Most of the work carried out was service and repair of existing equipment.

The majority of the premises being workshops and a very small office.

1997 - David Lennard took over leadership of the company to continue Bob's work in keeping Hudson Marine at the forefront of the industry.

Supply and fit to trade was the predominant work.

The business grew to 5 installation teams with large fit outs on newly built yachts.

2007 - The business started a website catering to the emerging online market.

2008 - The company opened its doors to a showroom with direct sales and support to boat owners.

2015 - A newly extended and refurbished showroom opened carrying a much larger stock of working products.

2018 - Hudson Marine Electronics has had premises at Mercury Yacht Harbour since the Marina's inception back in 1977.

The company launches a new website completely built from the ground up to deal with the other poor offerings in the market.

The business continues to run with 3 installation teams working on new installations, fault finding and commissioning.
