Wave Technology Processor
The WTP3 system provides an integral and essential part of your vessel. A powerful Computer Processing Unit (CPU) links to data acquisition modules which collect and feedback to the CPU.

WTP3, along with B&G’s range of displays, sensors and software, is the ultimate Grand Prix instrument system.
The WTP3 system consists of a powerful multi-processor CPU linked to distributed data acquisition modules via three independent CAN networks. The possibilities for data collection and calculation are vast, supporting recent progression in both high-end racing and superyacht systems.
The WTP3 meets three principal objectives
- To provide the most powerful, flexible and reliable instrument system available for the professional yacht navigator
- To increase the accuracy of the data provided by eliminating the effects of boat motion
- To calculate and display data more quickly than any other system
Ultimate Grand Prix Sailing Instrument
The WTP3 brings new architecture with a central CPU linked to distributed data collection networks – operating at up to 1Mbit on three independent channels – the possibilities for data collection are hugely expanded, supporting recent progression in both high-end racing and superyacht systems.
Data is processed in the CPU, which outputs display data, transmits serial and digital data for output via modules, communicates with Deckman via LAN and operates an on-board datalogger for post-sail data analysis.
