Description
The GPSMAP 1222 Plus is a 12 inch touchscreen chartplotter that brings a big, bright helm display to mid-size and larger boats. The WXGA touchscreen runs a preloaded worldwide basemap, and an internal 10 Hz GPS updates position and heading ten times per second so charts and overlays stay smooth and accurate.
As the non-sonar model in the family it adds fishfinding through optional networked sonar modules, including Panoptix all-seeing sonar and LiveScope. It connects over the Garmin Marine Network, NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183, with built-in Wi-Fi for ActiveCaptain, making it a capable hub for a connected system with radar, autopilots, sonar and sensors.
