Description
The GPSMAP 1222 Touch is a 12.1 inch multi-touch chartplotter designed for coastal cruisers who want a large, intuitive helm display. The WXGA touchscreen carries a preloaded worldwide basemap, and an internal 10 Hz GPS updates position and heading ten times a second for smooth, responsive navigation.
This is the non-sonar model, so fishfinding is added through a networked Garmin sonar module or transducer. It is fully network capable over the Garmin Marine Network, NMEA 2000, NMEA 0183 and J1939 for engine data, with built-in Wi-Fi for ActiveCaptain, allowing it to control radar, autopilots, sonar and digital switching across a connected system.
