Seaview
Hudson Marine carries Seaview mounts and pods, the heavy-duty mounting for radar, satellite domes, sensors and displays. Mast mounts, power towers and custom mounting built to take a beating offshore.
Sizing a mount to the load it carries
The right Seaview mount depends more on what you're hanging off it than on the boat itself. A radar dome or satellite antenna puts a very different load, and a different vibration profile, on a mast mount than a single display pod does at the helm, so check the weight and wind load rating of the mount against the equipment going on it rather than assuming one size fits most installations.
Power towers and combination mounts let you stack radar, satcom and antennas on a single pole, which reduces the number of separate penetrations through the deck or arch but does concentrate more weight at one point, so the base fixing needs to be rated accordingly.
Most mounts are supplied unfinished for cable runs, meaning you'll still need to plan glands and conduit separately to get wiring from the mounted equipment down to the electronics below.
