C-MAP Discover and Reveal: which chart do you need?
C-MAP cartography comes in tiers. Discover covers the everyday requirement, with detailed coastal and inland charting, port plans, tides and currents, and regular updates. Reveal adds high-resolution bathymetry, relief shading and satellite overlays, which matter most if you fish, dive or navigate poorly surveyed ground where seabed detail changes how you plan an approach.
Charts are supplied either on a chart card that slots straight into the plotter or as a download activated to a card you already own. Check your plotter's card format and available slots before ordering, and note that a chart bought for one unit is licensed to that unit.
Coverage is sold by region, so the practical question is how far you intend to cruise over the life of the chart rather than where you sail today. If you are unsure which zone or tier fits your plotter, ask us and we will check it against your model.
