Marine Battery Monitoring Panels & Displays
Centralized battery monitoring panels and displays for tracking vessel electrical systems. Our collection features monitoring panels from Victron Energy, Mastervolt, and other manufacturers.
Monitoring panels provide real-time visibility into battery voltage, current, state-of-charge, and power consumption. Essential for managing house banks and ensuring reliable electrical power.
Complete Monitoring: Part of our Monitoring collection. Includes battery gauges and battery shunts. Monitor batteries, solar charging, inverters, and all power systems. Display on Simrad, Raymarine, or Garmin chartplotters via NMEA 2000.
Choosing between shunt and BMS monitoring
Battery monitoring falls into two broad types. A shunt-based monitor measures current in and out of the bank directly and gives an accurate state-of-charge figure, which suits lead-acid, AGM and gel banks where the battery itself has no built-in intelligence. Lithium banks with an internal BMS often report state of charge over their own data connection instead, so the panel or display needs to support that specific battery's protocol rather than relying on a separate shunt.
Most current panels from Victron and Mastervolt communicate over NMEA 2000 or the manufacturer's own bus, and can then be shown on a dedicated panel, a VE.Bus or VE.Direct network, or mirrored on a compatible chartplotter. Before ordering, check how many banks you need to monitor and whether the display you want supports multiple shunts, since some entry-level panels are limited to a single battery bank.
