Discontinued Products
The products in this collection have been discontinued by their manufacturers and are no longer available to buy. We keep their pages online so you can still find specifications, manuals and downloads for equipment already on board, along with guidance on current replacements where they exist. Not sure what supersedes your model? Contact Hudson Marine Electronics for expert advice on the right upgrade path.
Tracing a replacement for discontinued kit
A model going out of production rarely means the system built around it is finished. Before replacing anything, check what the old unit actually talks to: whether it fed a network in NMEA 0183 or NMEA 2000, what voltage and connector it used, and what size cut-out or bracket it sat in. That detail decides whether a straight swap is possible or whether other parts of the installation need to change too.
Manufacturers often fold a discontinued model's features into a current range rather than dropping them outright, so the closest match is not always obvious from the name alone. Check the manual for the exact connector pinout and power draw before ordering a replacement, particularly for transducers, displays and sensors, where the interface has often changed between generations.
If you're working from an old spec sheet and can't tell what now supersedes it, get in touch with the team and we'll help you match it up.
