Description

The 608 is a masthead wind sensor that measures apparent wind speed and direction and feeds the data straight onto your NMEA 2000 network. A rotating cup anemometer reads wind speed while a 360 degree aero-vane tracks relative wind angle, giving accurate, responsive readings for both sailing performance and everyday awareness.

Built around ocean-race proven components from sister brand B&G, the 608 connects via a SimNet plug and works with Triton2, Triton, IS42, IS40 and IS20 instrument systems. This version is supplied without a mast cable and is compatible with existing 508 and IS20 mast cables and brackets, making it a straightforward replacement where cabling is already in place.
