Finding a route forward from an old Navico unit
Navico brought B&G, Simrad and Lowrance together under one engineering group, which is why discontinued units from any of the three often share connectors, NMEA 2000 backbone parts and even transducer wiring with current models. If a display on this list has failed, the fastest path to a working system is usually to check whether the existing transducer, autopilot drive or wind sensor still uses a SimNet or Micro-C connector, since that determines whether a current chartplotter can simply be dropped into the old network.
Specification sheets and installation manuals stay on these pages so you can confirm screen resolution, power draw and cable pinouts even though the product itself is no longer sold. Where a direct replacement does not exist, the newer equivalent from the same brand is usually the closest match in features and wiring. Contact the team if you want help matching an old part number to what is currently available.
