The Scanstrut DS-LP-16-BLK is a low profile deck cable seal in black anodised aluminium, sealing a single cable of 2-8mm and passing connectors of up to 16mm. The seal technology sits below the mounting surface for a clean, flush finish. IP68 100% watertight. Fits a pocket cut with a single hole saw, with no marine sealant required.

Description

The DS-LP-16-BLK brings premium cable routing to smaller runs, sealing a single cable of 2-8mm through the deck or cabin top, while its 16mm opening lets a connector of up to 16mm pass straight through. The black anodised aluminium body is UV-stable and hard-wearing, and the low profile design conceals the seal below the surface, reducing mounting height by 73% compared with Scanstrut's standard DS16 seal for a discreet, flush appearance.

Installation is quick and clean. The seal drops into a pocket cut with a single hole saw and captive nuts pull it down tight, with no marine sealant needed. Bungs for 2mm, 4mm and 7mm cables are supplied with a self-drill bung, giving a fully watertight IP68 feedthrough for solar panels, lights and other rooftop electronics.
