Description
The Simarine SCQ25T is a quadro shunt module for the PICO monitoring system. It has 4 independent measuring channels, each rated at 25 A continuous and 35 A peak for under 1 minute, so instead of only seeing the total battery current you can see exactly what a fridge, heater, inverter, water pump or solar charger is drawing or supplying. Readings are taken every 100 ms with 0.01 A resolution and ±1% accuracy.
On top of the four current channels, the SCQ25T adds 3 voltage inputs (0 to 75 V) and 4 resistance inputs (0 to 65 kΩ) for tanks and batteries, so one module can cover several consumers as well as tank levels and extra battery voltages. A built-in alarm relay rated 1 A at 12 V can be triggered by programmed conditions. Up to 5 quadro modules can be used for as many as 20 measured channels.
The module runs from 6 to 35 V DC with a consumption of around 2.5 mA, measures 183 x 91 x 34 mm and connects to the PICO display over the SiCOM data bus. Simarine makes the SCQ25T in Slovenia and covers it with a 3-year warranty.
