Description
The Simarine SCQ50 is a quadro shunt module for the PICO monitoring system. It has 4 independent measuring channels, each rated at 50 A continuous and 60 A peak for under 1 minute, so instead of only seeing the total battery current you can see exactly what a fridge, heater, inverter, water pump or solar charger is drawing or supplying. Readings are taken every 100 ms with 0.01 A resolution and ±1% accuracy.
Each channel is wired in line with the circuit it measures, and the module can be installed on the negative or positive side. A built-in alarm relay rated 1 A at 12 V can be triggered by programmed conditions. Up to 5 quadro modules can be used for as many as 20 measured channels.
The module runs from 6 to 35 V DC with a consumption of around 2.5 mA, measures 183 x 91 x 34 mm and connects to the PICO display over the SiCOM data bus. Simarine makes the SCQ50 in Slovenia and covers it with a 3-year warranty.
