Description
The Victron MultiPlus-II 48/4k5/55-32 230V (PMP482405012) is a multifunctional inverter/charger for professional marine, vehicle, off-grid and ESS installations on a 48 V battery bank. Victron rates continuous inverter output at 4 kW at 25°C, with a 4.5 kW cold-start capability (2 hours); the integrated charger delivers up to 55 A and the transfer switch is 32 A.
PowerControl and PowerAssist manage limited shore or generator supplies, and changeover to inverter operation is typically under 20 milliseconds. The unit is ESS-ready with anti-islanding, and supports parallel and three-phase expansion. An optional external AC current sensor extends PowerControl/PowerAssist. Configuration is via VEConfigure/MK3-USB; a GX device adds local and VRM remote monitoring.
Do not confuse this SKU with the MultiPlus-II 48/5000/70-50 (PMP482505012), which is a different 5000 VA / 70 A / 50 A model.
