What is included in the WS320 wireless pack?
The pack includes the solar-powered WS320 masthead wind sensor, the WS320 Bluetooth base station with mounting accessories, a NMEA 2000 drop cable and a Micro-C T-joiner.
Do I need to run a mast cable?
No. The WS320 sensor is solar powered and transmits wind data wirelessly to the base station, so no signal or power cable runs up the mast.
How do I pair the sensor and base station?
Connect the base station to NMEA 2000, power the network, then insert the sensor battery within 0.5m of the base station. Pairing can take up to 5 minutes and should be completed before the sensor is fitted to the mast.
What range does the wireless link cover?
The wireless link works over distances up to 30 metres (98 ft), suitable for most mast heights.
