Description
The Icom IC-M510 EVO is the evolution of Icom’s award-winning fixed-mount VHF. It is a self-contained helm radio with built-in NMEA 2000 and a loud 25 W two-way hailer / 20 W RX hailer and foghorn — features that needed the optional CT-M500 on the earlier IC-M510E.
Using the RS-M500 app for iOS and Android, up to three smart devices can act as a wireless microphone or remote controller over the radio’s built-in WLAN, with intercom between phone and radio. Class D DSC with a dedicated distress button, a wide-viewing-angle colour TFT LCD, integrated GNSS (internal or optional UX-241 antenna) and IP68 waterproofing complete the package.
