Description
The Garmin LiveScope 2 HD LVS42HD transducer is the high-definition member of the LiveScope 2 family. Like the LVS44 it needs no GLS 10 sonar black box: the transducer connects straight to your power source and to a compatible chartplotter or network over Garmin BlueNet, using the included power/network cable and adapter. It runs at 850 kHz to 1,600 kHz, giving sharper, more detailed images of fish, lures and structure at closer range, with integrated image stabilisation and improved stitching.
Beams cover 20 x 165 degrees in Forward mode and 20 x 180 degrees in Down and Perspective modes, with bottom tracking and forward range out to 38 m (125 ft). Water detection turns the sonar off automatically when the transducer leaves the water, and a built-in temperature sensor provides water temperature readings. The adjustable perspective shaft mount and a trolling-motor barrel mount are included, together with an adapter disc for the Force Kraken LiveScope mounting bracket.
