Description
This Quick bow thruster tunnel is 300 mm in diameter and 1000 mm long, made in steel (grade E 355 as listed by Quick) with a 10 mm wall (Quick price list code SP10), supplied complete. It suits thrusters with a 300 mm tunnel diameter (BTQ 300, BT QSY 300, BTH 300, BTAC 300 and BT DC-AC 300).
Quick recommends that preparation and positioning of the tunnel in the hull is entrusted to a skilled professional, and the installer bears responsibility for any problems caused by defective installation. The tunnel should sit as deep as possible, at least 0.75 times the tunnel diameter from the waterline, to avoid propeller cavitation (Quick thruster manuals). Check the thruster manual for tunnel length and tube thickness limits for your model.
