Description
The Quick BT DC-AC 185-105 is a DC-AC bow thruster: it runs from a battery DC supply (12/24V) and drives a three-phase motor through its own controller. It delivers 105 kgf of thrust from a 6.3 kW motor in a 185 mm tunnel, with twin counter-rotating propellers.
Quick describes the DC-AC range as having no carbon brushes, low power consumption, silent operation, proportional control as standard, unlimited runtime and easy installation (quickitaly.com). A 12V version with booster is available for some models. This listing is the 12V version.
This is the AJ1 version: the AJ1 is the Quick thruster command with proportional system (controls not included). Quick lists a line contactor and line switch as accessories, to prevent involuntary propeller activation.
