Description
The Quick BT DC-AC 300-300 is a DC-AC bow thruster: it runs from a battery DC supply (24/48V) and drives a three-phase motor through its own controller. It delivers 300 kgf of thrust from a 15 kW motor in a 300 mm tunnel, with twin counter-rotating propellers.
Quick describes the DC-AC range as having no carbon brushes, low power consumption, silent operation, proportional control as standard, unlimited runtime and easy installation (quickitaly.com). A 12V version with booster is available for some models.
This is the AMC/PCS version: it is intended for use with Quick AMC / PCS controls (controls not included). Quick lists a line contactor and line switch as accessories, to prevent involuntary propeller activation.
Nylon-propeller version (the standard BT DC-AC 300-300 has NiBrAl propellers).
