Description
The Quick BT QSY 300-300 is a 48V bow thruster with twin counter-rotating propellers and a 16 kW synchronous (QSY) motor, giving 300 kgf of thrust in a 300 mm diameter tunnel. This is the proportional-control version.
Quick's QSY thrusters use a synchronous motor ('QSY - Quick Synchronous Motor'), which allows an extended duty rating in standard environmental conditions of up to 10 minutes continuous operation (quickitaly.com).
Quick lists the BT QSY 300 range for boats of roughly 19-30 m (62-98 ft). Bronze gearbox, independent replaceable aluminium anode and elastic coupling. BT QSY thrusters are compatible with the Quick QCentric CANBUS system and Pacific proportional controls (quickitaly.com).
