Description
The Quick BTH300-240 is a hydraulic bow thruster with twin counter-rotating propellers, delivering 240 kgf of thrust in a 300 mm diameter tunnel. It is driven by a hydraulic motor with a recommended flow of 42.5 l/min at 220 bar, which corresponds to 15.5 kW of hydraulic power input (Quick BTH manual, adjustment values recommended by Quick).
Quick lists the BTH 300 range for boats of roughly 22-36 m (72-118 ft). The gearbox is aluminium-bronze alloy, the anode is aluminium and the output shaft stainless steel; the propellers are technopolymer or NiBrAl depending on model. The thruster has an independent, replaceable anode and an elastic coupling.
A hydraulic power source (pump, tank and hoses) is not included; the manual covers the Rilsan hose and oil tank arrangement for larger models. Quick recommends the TCD 2022, TCD 2042, TCD 2044 and TCD 2062 controls or PCS TJ1 / TJ2 proportional controls (not included).
