Description
The Quick BTH386-455 HD is a hydraulic bow thruster with twin counter-rotating propellers, delivering 455 kgf of thrust in a 386 mm diameter tunnel. It is driven by a hydraulic motor with a recommended flow of 90 l/min at 250 bar, which corresponds to 34 kW of hydraulic power input (Quick BTH manual, adjustment values recommended by Quick).
Quick lists the BTH 386 range for boats of roughly 22-40 m (72-131 ft). The gearbox is aluminium-bronze alloy, the anode is aluminium and the output shaft stainless steel; the propellers are technopolymer or NiBrAl depending on model. The thruster has an independent, replaceable anode and an elastic coupling.
A hydraulic power source (pump, tank and hoses) is not included; the manual covers the Rilsan hose and oil tank arrangement for larger models. Quick recommends the TCD 2022, TCD 2042, TCD 2044 and TCD 2062 controls or PCS TJ1 / TJ2 proportional controls (not included).
