Description
The Quick BTR2524024 is a 24V retractable bow thruster with twin counter-rotating propellers, delivering 240 kgf of thrust from a 10 kW brushed electric motor, for a 250 mm diameter opening.
The retractable design lets the thruster withdraw into the hull when not in use. Quick states the counter flange, separated from the supporting structure, makes installation easy, safe and compliant with joint requirements; the motor is joined to the structure inside the keel, and a single moving body crosses the in-out barrier, with protection against mechanical overload from accidental impacts when the system is open. Materials are AISI316 (and NiBrAl on larger models) with high galvanic protection through sacrificial anodes (quickitaly.com).
The counter flange is sold separately and can be supplied in composite, aluminium or steel (BTR manual). Standard supply is the retractable thruster, O-ring, hinge, hatch bracket, steel wire rope, manual and warranty conditions.
