Description

The Quick stern thruster tunnel (Ø513 mm, GRP) is the complete moulded/fabricated tunnel for a stern thruster, listed by Quick for the BTQ, BTH and BTAC ranges. It suits thrusters with a 513 mm tunnel diameter (BTH 513 and BTAC 513).

Quick states this manual covers only the stern tunnel installation, which differs from the thruster installation instructions; for thruster installation see the thruster's own manual. Optional cowls (deflectors) are available for stern tunnels from Ø140 to Ø386 (see the Quick cowl kits).

Dimensions from Quick's stern tunnel manual (Rev 005A, code FGTLPV513000A00): A 660 mm, B 641 mm (recommended), C 1000 mm, D 660 mm, E 513 mm, F 18 mm, G 340 mm.

No. Cowls (deflectors) for stern tunnels are optional Quick accessories sold separately.
Is installation DIY-friendly?
Quick recommends that the tunnel and thruster are installed by competent, skilled personnel, and the installer bears responsibility for any problems caused by defective installation. The installation and user manual (linked in Downloads) covers the tunnel, gearleg and wiring.
