Description
This Simarine temperature sensor is an NTC 10k thermistor in a waterproof stainless steel probe on a 1 m cable. Connected to the temperature input on a Simarine SC303 or SC503 combo shunt, it lets the PICO show battery temperature, or the temperature of an engine bay, fridge, freezer or cabin.
The probe measures 5 x 25 mm and the sensor reads from -13 to 105 °C. It is a 2-wire NTC 10k type with ±1% tolerance, a B-constant of 3380 K and probe insulation above 100 MΩ, so it gives stable, repeatable readings in damp marine and vehicle environments.
Simarine offers the sensor with 1 m and 5 m cables; this version has the 1 m cable. Simarine products carry a 3-year warranty.
