Description

The Simarine SN01 is an NMEA 2000 gateway for the PICO monitoring system. It takes the data your PICO and its modules collect, including battery status, DC detailed status, tank levels, inclinometer attitude, temperature and air pressure, and transmits it onto the boat's NMEA 2000 backbone so it can be shown on compatible chartplotters and multifunction displays.

Transmitted messages include PGN 127508 Battery Status, 127506 DC Detailed Status, 127505 Fluid Level, 127257 Attitude, 130310 Environmental Parameters, 130314 Actual Pressure and 127502 Switch Bank Control, alongside the standard address claim and product information messages. The module has one NMEA 2000 backbone connection and two SiCOM ports for linking into the PICO module chain.

The SN01 runs from 6 to 35 V DC, draws about 0.6 mA and works from -20 to 70 °C. It measures 111.8 x 77.5 x 32.1 mm and mounts with two screws. Simarine makes it in Slovenia and covers it with a 3-year warranty.

What does the SN01 do?
