Description

The Simarine light switch is a 12 V DC double switch in black anodised aluminium with built-in dimmers. Its two buttons each control their own output of up to 5 A, so one switch can run two separate LED lights or other 12 V devices, or the two outputs can be paralleled for up to 10 A. LED dimming uses 12 V pulse width modulation at 400 Hz.

Each switch can be set to PWM dimming, simple on/off or push button mode. Several switches can control the same light from different places: they talk to each other over the Simarine SiCOM bus, and only one of them needs to be wired to the light itself. Addresses are set with two 16-position rotary switches on the back, which keeps multiway setups simple for cabins, saloons, campervans and motorhomes.

The switch accepts 0 to 16 V DC with a single common supply for both buttons, draws only 5 to 20 mA with no load, and measures 60 x 60 x 42 mm. It is also offered in black and silver to match other Simarine panels. Simarine makes it in Slovenia and covers it with a 3-year warranty.
