Description
The Simarine VIA is a digital control system for campervans, motorhomes and vans. This UK configuration kit contains the VIA control panel and the SPDU52 power distribution unit. The 157 x 82 mm, 5.6 mm thin glass panel brings battery monitoring, tank levels and the van's 12 V circuits together in one place, replacing a row of separate switches and gauges.
The SPDU52 distributes power to 6 switching channels across 12 fuses and has manual override so circuits can still be switched if needed. It measures current on the solar (0 to 16 A), charger (0 to 40 A), main (0 to 50 A) and starter battery (0 to 50 A) channels, so the panel shows exactly where energy comes from and where it goes.
The system can grow with Simarine modules to monitor up to 6 batteries, 24 shunts, 10 temperature sensors, 14 tanks and an inclinometer. The panel runs from 6 to 22 V DC and the SPDU52 from 8 to 22 V DC. Simarine makes VIA in Slovenia and covers it with a 3-year warranty.
