Where an EGIS unit has been withdrawn, the specification and manual on this page remain useful for confirming exactly what the original installation included, particularly the software version and any licensed features, before you plan a replacement. Networked systems built around a retired unit often depend on it for a specific function, such as a data gateway or interface between older instruments and a newer display, so identify what that unit was actually doing before removing it.
A direct replacement is not always available, and the practical route is often a modern equivalent from a currently supported range that performs the same function on the network, rather than a like for like part.
