Finding a like for like replacement

Every product on this page has been withdrawn from Garmin's current line-up, but the listings stay live because the specifications, wiring diagrams and manuals are still useful for anyone servicing or extending an older installation. Checking the exact model number against the datasheet here is worthwhile before you order a replacement part, since Garmin has revised connector types and mounting footprints between generations.

Most discontinued chartplotters and instruments will still talk to current Garmin displays over NMEA 2000, provided the network uses standard drop cables and terminators, but sonar modules and some older transducers use proprietary connectors that were dropped from later ranges. If a unit has failed and you are not sure whether a current model will slot into the same network and wiring, get in touch and we can check compatibility before you commit to a replacement.
