Keeping a Lowrance system running
Most items in this range are model-specific rather than universal, so the starting point is always the exact display or sensor they are fitted to. Mounting brackets differ between gimbal, flush and bail styles across the various Lowrance display ranges, and a bracket that fits one generation of display often will not fit the next, even where the screen size looks similar. Suncovers follow the same rule: they are moulded to a specific model's bezel, not a generic size.
Chart and map storage uses microSD cards; capacity and card class affect how quickly detailed C-MAP or Navionics charts redraw when panning or zooming, and a slow card can make an otherwise capable display feel sluggish. Power and data cables, including NMEA 2000 drops and the connectors linking a display to a transducer or sonar module, are worth keeping a spare of if you rely on the system offshore, since a damaged cable is a common reason for losing sonar or chart data mid-passage.
