Transducers for Axiom 2 Pro S
Transducers compatible with Raymarine Axiom 2 Pro S chartplotters, from the official Axiom 2 Pro installation instructions (87443 Rev 6, section 4.2). Axiom 2 Pro S models support CPT-S conical High CHIRP transducers, which are the recommended transducer family for these displays.
Choosing within the CPT-S range
CPT-S conical High CHIRP transducers cover a range of transom, in-hull and through-hull mounting options rather than being a single fixed product, so the starting point is the hull type and mounting location rather than the display itself, since the Axiom 2 Pro S will accept any transducer in the CPT-S family. Transom mount versions suit boats without an existing through-hull, while through-hull and in-hull options generally give a cleaner signal at speed on boats already set up for them.
Cable length needs to reach from the transducer's mounting position to the black box or display without a join, since most transducer connectors are not designed to be extended without a dedicated extension cable. Deadrise angle at the mounting point affects which specific CPT-S model will sit correctly in the water flow, so check the hull angle at the intended location before ordering rather than assuming one model suits every hull it is rated for.
