Victron Panels & Monitoring
Victron monitoring and GX display panels, including the Cerbo GX and colour controls, for complete oversight of your power system.
Getting visibility over a Victron system
A Cerbo GX (or an older Venus-based panel) is the hub that ties charge controllers, inverters, chargers and battery monitors together onto one VE.Bus or VE.Direct network, and it is what turns a collection of separate Victron boxes into a system you can actually read at a glance. Colour control displays add a helm-mounted screen for that data; without one, the same information is still available remotely.
Remote monitoring runs through Victron's VRM portal over WiFi or a mobile data connection, which is useful for checking state of charge and generator run hours without being aboard, but it depends on the boat having a reasonably reliable internet connection at the mooring.
Before adding a GX device to an existing system, check what is already wired for VE.Direct versus VE.Bus, since older Victron components sometimes need an adaptor cable to join a newer network. We are happy to check compatibility against your existing kit list.
