ZipStiks
ZipStiks is a modular marine wire management system from Xanigo Marine, designed to turn messy wiring into clean, secure and serviceable installations. It is built for boat builders, riggers and marine electricians, giving every wire run a defined route so installations are easier to build, inspect and service.
Planning a wiring run with ZipStiks
ZipStiks are segmented mounting strips with multiple zip-tie attachment points along each strip, so wire bundles stay neatly routed and close to the mounting surface rather than hanging in loose spans between single fixings. The segmented design lets the strips follow the route your wiring needs to take, and they work on new builds as well as refits and electronics upgrades.
Strips can be attached with screws or with an adhesive. If you bond them, use an adhesive rated for both the ZipStiks material and your mounting surface, and follow the adhesive manufacturer's instructions for surface preparation and cure time.
It pays to plan the pathway before the installation becomes crowded: giving each run a defined route from the start makes circuits easier to trace, label and add to later.
