Description
The WG-1 Wireless Gateway is the network link for the Raymarine RCU-1 handheld autopilot remote. It connects to the SeaTalkng / NMEA 2000 network through its DeviceNet connector (a SeaTalkng adaptor cable is included) and talks to the remote over Bluetooth 5.1, at up to around 30 m with a clear line of sight. Every RCU-1 installation needs one, and a single gateway can run up to three remotes at the same time.
The gateway is a compact, low-profile puck about 108 mm across and 27 mm high. It draws its 12 V supply from the network (LEN 1), has a diagnostics LED and is rated IPx6 / IPx7, so it can sit above or below decks. It can be surface mounted with the supplied studs, or fitted to a bulkhead or rail using the optional A80437 deck mounting kit or the A80370 pole / rail adaptor. Connected remotes can be managed from a networked LightHouse 4 chartplotter.
This listing is the WG-1 on its own (R70947): a replacement gateway, or the gateway for an RCU-1 handset (A80835) bought separately. If you need both, the RCU-1 with WG-1 kit (E70718) comes pre-paired. The RCU-1 works with Raymarine Evolution autopilots only, and only one WG-1 is supported per network. If you would like a hand checking your system, our team is happy to advise.
