Garmin's Recommended Transducer Guide marks some display and transducer combinations with "A1" or "A2", meaning an adaptor cable is needed between the transducer and the display. This page sets out exactly which combinations those are, so you can order the right cable alongside your transducer.

Garmin's guide flags no adaptor for any listed transducer on the ECHOMAP UHD2 cv, ECHOMAP UHD2 sv or GPSMAP x3 xsv. On the STRIKER Vivid the GT20-TM (010-01960-00) is listed as a direct connection, and on the ECHOMAP Ultra 2 the GT51M, GT52HW and GT56UHD transducers are listed as direct connections.

Can I use A2 on a STRIKER Vivid, or A1 on an ECHOMAP Ultra 2?
Garmin's guide only lists A1 for STRIKER Vivid combinations and A2 for ECHOMAP Ultra 2 combinations. Use the cable the guide specifies for your pair.
Does the adaptor come with the transducer?
