Hudson Marine is a Fusion dealer, carrying the Apollo and MS-series marine stereos, speakers, subwoofers and amplifiers, with the Apollo networking and ERX remotes that link audio across the whole boat.
Apollo versus MS-series: what's different
Apollo is Fusion's networked platform: head units, amplifiers and zone controllers talk to each other over a shared data link, so volume, source and zone can be set independently for helm, cockpit and cabin from one control point, and an ERX remote can be added anywhere on the boat without running a new head unit cable. MS-series units are simpler, standalone stereos and speakers built to the same waterproof standard, better suited to a single-zone boat or a straightforward replacement of an existing head unit.
Both ranges use the same speaker and amplifier wiring conventions, so a boat can start with an MS-series head unit and add Apollo components later as budget allows, provided the network cabling is run at the same time. Where Fusion integrates most usefully is through NMEA 2000, letting a Garmin, Simrad or Raymarine display control volume and source directly, worth planning for if the helm display and stereo are being fitted together.
