Simrad Broadband 4G Radar kit
Description
The Simrad Broadband 4G Radar carries all the benefits of the solid-state 3G design and adds Target Separation Control beam sharpening, Dual Range operation and increased detection out to 36 nm. As an FMCW radar it provides InstantOn power-up, sees targets within a few metres of the boat and draws very little power, while its near-imperceptible emissions allow safe mounting close to passengers.
The kit comprises the 20-inch 4G radar dome, a 20 m (66 ft) interconnection cable, an RI10 SimNet interface box and a 1.8 m (6 ft) yellow Ethernet cable. It is compatible with Simrad NSO, NSE and NSS displays, B&G Zeus and Lowrance HDS. This product is discontinued and was replaced by the HALO20+ pulse compression radar.
