If you're replacing an older Raymarine display, the big question is whether the new one will fit the hole in your dash. Raymarine makes adaptor plates so an AXIOM+ 7, 9 or 12 can go into the cut-out left by several older models, which can save you recutting the console. This guide sets out the plates listed in our distributor's 2026 catalogue, along with the mounting kits, suncovers and power cables listed for each AXIOM+ size.

Which adaptor plate do I need?
Find your old display in the left-hand column. Each plate is listed for all three AXIOM+ models of that size (display only, RV display only, and RV with RV-100 transducer).
If your old display isn't in the table, the catalogue doesn't list a plate for it. Send us the model and the cut-out size and we'll advise.

Power cables
The catalogue lists the same two power cables for every AXIOM+ model: Axiom Power Cable 1.5m Right-Angled with NMEA 2000 Connector (R70561) and Axiom Power Cable 1.5m Straight with NMEA 2000 Connector (R70523).
Going to AXIOM 2 Pro or AXIOM 2 XL instead?
There are no adaptor plates listed for the AXIOM 2 Pro or AXIOM 2 XL. These accessories are listed:
Points to note
- Adaptor plates are listed for AXIOM+ only. The catalogue lists none for AXIOM 2 Pro or AXIOM 2 XL.
- Each plate is specific to one old cut-out and one AXIOM+ size, so check both before ordering.
- The AXIOM+ front mounting kits include a suncover. There are also separate suncovers for front-mounted, trunnion-mounted and surface or rear-mounted displays, so choose the one that matches how your display will be mounted.
- You may also need new cables for your other equipment when you change display. Ask us and we'll check your current setup.

Do the plates work with AXIOM 2?
The catalogue lists the plates for AXIOM+ only. Please ask us if you're considering an AXIOM 2.
