Description

The Raymarine CAM400 Augmented Reality Pack brings ClearCruise AR to Axiom chartplotters in one box. It pairs the CAM400 HD day and night IP camera, finished in gloss marine white, with the AR200 sensor, which supplies GPS position, heading and motion data so the display can overlay AIS targets, waypoints, navigation aids and chart objects directly onto the live camera image.

The CAM400 delivers 1920 x 1080 video through a 129.4° wide-angle lens, with true day/night operation and 850 nm infrared illumination up to 10 m. It is rated IPx6 and IPx7, mounts ball-up or ball-down and runs on Power over Ethernet or 12 V dc. The pack also includes a 10 m RayNet cable to connect the camera to your network, plus a SeaTalk NG T-piece and 1 m backbone cable for the AR200.

AR needs the CAM400 and Axiom display on the same RayNet network and the AR200 on the same SeaTalk NG network, with LightHouse 4 or LightHouse 5 v4.11.133 or later on the display, and is viewed in the chartplotter Video app. Axiom 2 displays running LightHouse 5 add adjustable distance guidelines for docking. If you would like a hand checking your system, our team is happy to advise.

What is included in the AR pack?
The pack includes the CAM400 camera with its mounting kit, the AR200 sensor, a SeaTalk NG T-piece, a 1 m SeaTalk NG backbone cable and a 10 m RayNet (female) to RayNet (female) cable to connect the camera to your network.
Which displays work with the CAM400?
Raymarine Axiom 2 Pro, Axiom 2 XL, Axiom 2 and the original Axiom, Axiom+, Axiom Pro and Axiom XL displays, running LightHouse software v4.11.133 or later. Previous-generation Raymarine displays are not supported. It is also ONVIF Profile S compatible for third-party viewers.
Do I need any other cables?
The pack includes a 10 m RayNet (female) to RayNet (female) cable for the camera and a SeaTalk NG T-piece and 1 m backbone cable for the AR200. If your network uses RJ45, a RayNet (female) to RJ45 (male) adapter cable is needed instead; longer runs need a longer RayNet cable.
Can it be mounted upside down?
Yes. The CAM400 can be installed ball-up or ball-down, and the image can be flipped horizontally and vertically to suit.
How many cameras can I view?
Up to four CAM400 streams can be shown on one chartplotter, and a single camera can be viewed on up to ten networked displays.
Does it show distance guidelines for docking?
Yes, on Axiom 2-series chartplotters running LightHouse 5 v5.0.126 or later. Line spacing and angle can be adjusted to match your installation.
How well does it see at night?
Integrated 850 nm infrared illumination gives visibility up to 10 m (33 ft) in darkness, and true day/night operation with a mechanical IR cut filter switches automatically as light levels change.
How much storage does recording use?
Raymarine quotes approximately 7.1 MB per minute at 1080p, or about 140 minutes per GB.
Can it display augmented reality?
Yes. Pair the CAM400 with an AR200 sensor (E70537) on the same network as a compatible Axiom display to unlock ClearCruise Augmented Reality, which overlays AIS targets, waypoints and chart objects on the live video. AR is viewed in the chartplotter Video app.
